FIXY is a basement club on Oosterstraat in Groningen, in the space many locals still know as OOST. The programming leans to underground electronic music, and the calendar regularly includes queer nights, including LGBTQ+ club collaborations. Fixy is rightfully called the “Place of the City.” Because it truly belongs to the city. What a fantastic, down-to-earth, open, cozy, and uncomplicated atmosphere. Whether for club nights, raves, larger or smaller events, or simply to enjoy a delicious drink, a snack, or a meal, you are 100% in the right place here. The daily special is usually highly recommended, but the selection of cocktails and beers, served by friendly and super enthusiastic staff, also deserves a big compliment. Groningen can be proud of this “Place of the City.”
