Hostel Strowis

Stayed one night and my room had everything I needed. It was big and functional. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Right in the middle of the city very easily to walk or cycle from to anywhere and train station.

Right in the middle of Utrecht. Simple, smaller rooms, but sufficient for spending the night. A good bed! Good reception and not intended for hosting parties. So ideal for a relaxed overnight stay.

I stayed at this hostel for one night with some friends and had a very pleasant experience. The location is central and convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The hostel itself is lovely and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Upon arrival, guests are offered a welcome drink of their choice (tea, juice, or coffee) which is a really nice touch. The property is clean and well maintained, with many useful facilities, including a small garden, a shared kitchen, free earplugs, a laundry services and lockers for luggage storage. In our room was included a sink with a mirror, a small table with chairs, towels and bed linens, the ability to adjust the heating, comfortable beds and pillows. Bathrooms and showers are located on the corridor and are spacious and very clean. The hostel also offers bike rentals at a reasonable price, which is perfect for getting around the city. There is a small bar and several coworking-style tables, as well as board games, a microwave and a kettle, great for relaxing or socializing. We truly enjoyed our stay and if we return to Utrecht we would definitely choose this hostel again. An excellent experience overall, highly recommended!

What great service! We received a warm welcome from Dick. Absolutely fantastic value for money. It's clean and basic, perfect for a short overnight stay. The atmosphere and character of the hostel are truly wonderful. You can use their beautiful garden, kitchen, and there's even a small cafe on the ground floor. All in all, I would definitely come back! 🫶 PS: Earplugs are a good idea.

The hostel is in a good central location and staff are very helpful. We spent two nights at the hostel in a double room, and suffered from being bitten extensively by bed bugs.
