Fine hotel, but you do have to be able to tolerate the sound of the carillon.
Everything is absolutely perfect here! A super nice place, good facilities, and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
I visited Utrecht solo for a business trip. This hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from Utrecht Centraal train station - which I got directly from Schiphol airport. The hotel staff were very polite and spoke very good English. The room is what you’d expect for a city stay. Enough space for what you need it for. They do provide a proper hairdryer which I always appreciate. I did notice the shower wasn’t the cleanest, which is why I wouldn’t give it 5 stars. There is also no plug socket by the bed which I always notice when travelling. However the room did have blackout curtains which was nice. It also had a coffee machine and kettle - I don’t drink hot drinks but for most people this is a necessity. I didn’t explore the downstairs area as it was a quick trip for work. However the design of the hotel overall is nice and I did feel safe during my stay. I would recommend staying here if you are looking at a city break etc. Just bare in mind lots of the restaurants and shops don’t open until 10am and I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so it maybe worth adding that on, unless you do what I did and grabbed a protein shake and pastry from the Spar.
Lovely, intriguing and avant-garde.
A very modern and elegant hotel. We had a room with three beds. It was very spacious and comfortable. Very clean and furnished to a high standard. The staff is incredibly attentive. Parking can be easily booked by email or on-site for an additional fee. The wine bar is very stylish and offers a huge selection of different wines from all over the world. The bartender is also very knowledgeable and caters to every request.
