This is a very busy seafood restaurant right on the edge of the quay overlooking the fiord. Seating is clearly oriented to regular and affluent guests getting window seats, other get less chance to have a nice view. Yes the place was crowded (full) lots of big tables and it was loud. Each waiter has a designated area and number of tables to deal with, unfortunately for us our very kind waiter had a large and it seemed demanding (difficult) table to deal with which took up a large amount of his time and we waited a while to get our drinks and order. It was ok, we were in no hurry, and thing got much better when the big table left. So take it that the service is good. There is a good menu of fish and seafood, with both fixed menus and a la carte. I must say the fish was delicious, even if there was a bit of a wait due to the fact that we didn't have a starter. The dessert was also tasty. As everywhere in Norway, wine is expensive, 20 euros for a glass of Chablis, and 16 euros for a beer. It's clear they know what they are doing and how to cope with such a rush. The staff were great throughout, everything was with a smile. Would I go back, probably yes, but there a huge amount of dining options in Oslo that need to check out before.

Just didnt live 100% up to my expecations on food or even really atmosphere. The high open ceilings gave me a factory vibe while working, and felt I was more in a canteen than a restaurant. food was good but maybe not enough for me to stress about coming back again.

Bad service experience with you today, May 20, 2026, approx. 4:30 PM I experienced little hospitality, poor follow-up at the table and lack of help when I asked questions about the menu. It also seemed as if we were spoken to in an unpleasant way, and we felt ignored compared to other guests who received faster and nicer service. This gave a bad impression and ruined the experience. I expect normal courtesy and equal treatment of guests.

Incredibly good service and great food! We had two babies with us, and the staff really made sure that both young and old had a great experience. Will definitely be back!

Terrible service but when you are served Canadian frozen lobster and frozen shrimp, with no option to upgrade to fresh ingredients, this will be the last time for me. Unfortunately. 10/10 service and location. 1/10 for food.

Excellent service. Delicious food. It was a lovely evening. The whale fillet was absolutely delicious.
