About this place Ramona Bar

Ramona is the antidote to the club circuit: a small cafe-bar on Widok street with deliberately retro decor, homemade food, local beers and cocktails, and a soundtrack of cheerfully trashy pop. It is popular with both Polish regulars and international visitors, and the crowd skews a little older and a lot more conversational than the dance-floor venues. This is the classic Central European neighbourhood gay bar: prices are low, staff are friendly, and the point of the evening is talking rather than performing. It works as an early stop before La Pose or Metropolis, or as the whole evening if what you want is dinner, a drink and company. The location just off the Marszalkowska-Aleje Jerozolimskie crossing puts it within a short walk of nearly everything in the city centre.

Artur, the best bartender here, always asks about the mood and pours a truly delicious drink. There's always energy and a positive vibe to this place.

The premises are listed as wheelchair accessible, but access to the premises requires a high threshold/step. I tried to contact them via email to inquire about a possible ramp or to correct the information on Google Maps, but I haven't received a response for over a week. It would be nice to update the accessibility information to avoid misleading information.

I enjoyed my one evening there. The music was good and it was getting busier as I was about to leave. The drinks were good.

A nice bar with a terrace. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the drag show because it took a long time to start.
