Absolute scam. We arrived during the specified check-in period to an empty hostel. Over email they tried to claim we never signed the terms and conditions, but we never received this and their own page specifies it’s completed at the time of check in. Then they marked us as a no show and kept our money. Before they try to claim they have no record of me being there, I have attached photos of my booking confirmation and their sign that they were not running. They point to their Hostelworld booking because you can only review the place if you actually completed a stay there, but that excludes everyone that they canceled bookings from. Book literally anywhere else in town and run far away from this scam.

We came as a couple in early July 2025 for a week in a private room. We had a lot of preconceived notions because of other negative reviews, but we were very pleasantly surprised and delighted! We received a very warm welcome, the room was clean, and there were no problems at all. Regarding arrival and departure times, we arrived early in the morning in Albufeira, so we went to the beach until it opened around 2 pm, and we returned very early the next morning. There were no problems with check-out. Just a 5-minute walk from the beach, the location was perfect. The pedestrian streets were very pleasant, and it was very easy to walk to the city's points of interest. Obviously, it's in the center of Albufeira, so it's quite noisy at night! But it's perfectly bearable, and even with the windows open, the noise is masked by the fan provided by the hostel (which is essential). I'm only writing this review now because the value for money of this stay makes it much harder for us to find a new holiday destination as incredible as this one, so thank you again!

Not the nicest place but for value it’s pretty good. Very loud until about 3am but that’s expected when you’re so close to old town. Not very busy at this time of year but that can be good and bad.

I've never experienced a more unfriendly receptionist. We arrived at 8:01 PM (no joke), and we're students traveling on a budget. She simply canceled our booking, laughing rudely the whole time and being incredibly mean (just because we were one minute late). Our Flixbus was delayed, and she wouldn't even let us finish speaking, being condescending and arrogant. Truly inhumane behavior. I don't think such antisocial people have any place in a job that involves dealing with people. We lost all our money. She wouldn't even let us speak to the manager and was just gloating and malicious. Worst experience ever! I don't recommend supporting accommodations like this at all! Extremely disappointed and angry! The worst part is that she didn't even check we'd booked for two people and thought she was right the whole time. This means that even if she hadn't rudely canceled our booking because of a one-minute delay, one of us still wouldn't have had a bed because she was too incompetent to manage our booking. I'd give her zero stars if I could. (The woman had tattooed eyebrows, was thin, and had black curly hair.)

This hostel is fantastic! The location is perfect if you want to go out partying – right in the heart of the action. The hostel is clean, cozy, and has everything you need. The owner is also super friendly; we felt welcome immediately. Highly recommended :)

!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! Worst hostel of my life. There's no air conditioning or fans in the rooms, and it's incredibly hot, so you have to open the windows. This means you can hear the cars, trucks, motorcycles, and partygoers going to and from parties and shouting in the street. It's impossible to sleep. The mattresses are extremely uncomfortable; they haven't been changed in ages. You can feel the springs. I spent four nights of pure horror, and my back is killing me! The price is appalling: 65 euros a night for conditions worthy of a prison cell! The only positive point is the central location. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST STAYING HERE, EVEN FOR ONE NIGHT!!!

Such a nice, well located hostel, right in the city center and 2 minutes from the beaches. Clean rooms, no AC but no problem since they have fans everywhere. The manager was super friendly and helpful. Will come back next year!
