Lagos Avenida Hotel

The service and friendliness of the staff were excellent. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The view was magnificent. The decor was superb. The breakfast was very good. In addition, the pool was exceptional: infinity pool, stunning views, sun loungers, and a bar. An idyllic hotel! Plus, it's close to everything.

Loved this hotel! Right across from marina for all your boat or kayak needs, short walk to beaches and to the old town area. A market and cafe are right behind the hotel but anything you’d need is very walkable. It’s the best of everything! Hotel staff was very kind and attentive, especially Robbie at the roof top bar and Ekatrina at the front desk who gave us a map and some suggestions for our stay. Bed was extremely comfortable and incredible black out curtains that allow you to sleep as long as you’d like. We had a spacious balcony with a city view - not as bustling as the marina view but a much better view of the sunset! Also a nice lounge area in the lobby with view of the marina. They really care about the customer experience as we were also given a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival. Definitely eat once at the restaurant for dinner - while pricey, it is delicious. Overall the hotel was a great value for its cost.

100% recommended. This superb, well located hotel in the heart of Lagos overlooking the marina is just wonderful. It has a vibrant , dynamic and lively ambiance yet very serene and zen and every single staff member is just wonderful. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms spacious and light. The blackout blinds in the rooms make all the difference. The marina view is absolutely stunning. Front of house/the receptionists are fantastic, friendly and will go all out to ensure your stay is the best experience. A big hats off to Gabriela, Rebecca, Anny (Vivienne) and Ekatirina. The housekeeping department is outstanding, discrete, faultless and don’t move your belongings like many 5* hotels do! The Rooftop pool bar, infinity pool has an amazing view of Lagos Marina. It is lovely. The hotel bar adjacent to the restaurant and gorgeous and superbly designed lobby area is fantastic. Johnny boy and Robbie are the most amazing mixologists and as well as that really lovely guys who make the most incredible cocktails, creative, artistic and both extremely talented. The breakfast is fantastic - a great buffet and menu with free flowing bubbly, should that appeal. The breakfast team: Erica, Lily, Kateryna, João pedro and João Marques are absolutely fabulous and will ensure your day starts in the best possible way. The Michelin* dining restaurant is fantastic. Roeland Klein is an outstanding and really lovely executive chef, his sous chef Tomas and the entire team are extremely professional providing the most incredible dishes. Diogo, Persia and the entire team are all incredible. The cuisine is out of this world, a foodies paradise. Every single staff member is so knowledgeable about each and every dish, friendly, delightful and will ensure you have the best dining experience. Izzy, Tiago, Valentina and colleagues are brilliant. Joana and Tawany are excellent sommeliers, delightful and will serve you the best and delicious wines - particularly from Portugal. On a personal note, a huge thank you and I accolade Diogo Coelho, who runs this hotel hands down, it comes naturally to Diogo and he is a huge asset to this wonderful hotel as is Roeland Klein. They thrive on giving the best possible holiday experience.

Nothing really bad but worst quality/price ever. I would go back at this place at half price, 250€ per night i would expect something closer to a five stars not a 3 stars hotel

Loved the hotel, beautful decorated, very clean and lovely staff. Well located in the heart of Lagos, right near the marina. Would highly recommend.

3 stars at most! Aside from its convenient location, it has no redeeming qualities! There were ants on the bed, no place to store clothes or suitcases, and no privacy in the bathroom or toilet.

Exceptional breakfast

Lovely hotel. Wonderful rooftop pool, and excellent restaurant. Appreciated that delicious and expansive breakfast was included. Free street parking (but limited). Don’t bother paying extra for the “marina view” since the road traffic is SO LOUD that you cannot leave your balcony door open (also takes away from the view, especially from lower floors). Also a little odd that toilet and shower are glass cubes in bedroom, but not a big deal for a couple.
