Britannia Aberdeen Hotel

Room was immaculate and staff were helpful but this hotel could do with a major makeover. I don’t believe it was worth £90 for a nights stay.

Just back here on a allocated Mystery Weekend with Loch Lomond Travel, our room was dated but clean & tidy. Food was adequate & some staff we're a bit laid back, but overall for what we paid it was good-value.

Awful hotel. Dirty, outdated, firsy person I was greeted by, was moody, bad customer service, very unwelcoming. The lady on the desk in the morning seemed lovely.

We had quite a rogue experience in this hotel. We booked in last minute when I went into early labour to wait out the situation before going to the maternity unit. Props to the staff as they were super open to letting us book in for further nights if we needed to… but that’s about the only positive I have 🤣 I kid you not, we went to our room, and there was a whole birds nest behind the door. Windows were closed. No bird in sight. But its poo and feathers were everywhere! Apparently the room had been cleaned that day, but unsure how this could be missed. The feathers went out into the corridor so there might still be a bird roaming around in there unnoticed 6 months later. To be fair; they changed our room immediately and seemed really genuinely shocked. The me who was about to give birth waddled around the hotel very angrily. We also walked in to what seemed like a cult-driven karaoke. I’m sure if we’d given it a chance it would have been good fun, but I was in no mood for it. Nobody’s fault. We didn’t really try out any of the facilities given the nature of our stay, so I can’t comment on them. But I just couldn’t let the bird nest slide. What an insane thing to walk into!

I was their for new year with my friend Fay on the 30th December It was Fantastic Service was brilliant Food was great room lovely entertainment was amazing Rian and Scott were amazing could not do enough for you Both entertained us well to beautiful boys Rest off the staff was lovely to Great New Year 👌 Would go back again Thank you everyone You were all amazing 👏

We stayed in this hotel last night on a party couch trip not all couch party are drunk and don’t notice the mess. Not sure where to start dirty hotel with over worked miserable looking staff . The first room we were given was filthy with mouldy window sills terrible damp smell no heating, you can smell damp in all corridors also . We were offered a second room damp smell not so bad . Rooms need gutted sorry full hotel could do with seriously make over I will say sheets were clean . Food is a whole new level never once did you see a member of staff check temperatures new food flung in on top of any left . I watched a member of staff replace the pate he picked any that had been knocked of previous plate lying in chill cabinet on top of new load he was putting out . There would be a member of staff supervising the food process so kitchen aware when things need replacing mess cleaned up . One toaster working in morning , I’m using the term working loosely you let your bread go round once take it out turn over then need go again as only one side toasts . Had to wait 30 minutes at bar as there was no glasses . Someone needs to step up and manage teams . I could keep going but let’s not pretend these comments are going make any difference . This was a mystery tour we were on so didn’t know where we were stay as differently WOULD NOT PICK THIS HOTEL

I don't understand why Bolderman chose this hotel. Old-fashioned hotel. People have been asking for cheese and such for ages, but the manager doesn't think it's necessary.

Has a lot of knockers, I can only speak as I find, my rooms problems were dealt with decisively, I wasn't after any recompense, I know how it is, some people want blood for very little. There deal in the restaurant was fantastic!! A starter of some very fine tomato soup, a steak and chips and a beer...for £16, that is beyond great value. Very tasty, enjoyed!!
