About this place Plata Bar

Plata Bar is a gay cocktail bar on Carrer del Consell de Cent, on the main strip of Barcelona's Gaixample. It focuses on proper cocktails rather than cheap drinks, and the crowd is mostly local and visiting gay men. Its Google rating is high (4.6 from about 1,800 reviews). It opens at 21:00 every night and closes around 01:30, or 02:30 on Fridays and Saturdays. That makes it an early-evening stop before the clubs. Several other gay bars are within a block or two, so it's easy to go on from here.

Highly recommend coming in! We came in during a weekday so it was a little quieter but the staff was very friendly and made sure we all had a great time! Will certainly be coming back next time we’re in Barcelona!
