About this place Sweet Café

Sweet Café is a gay bar in Barcelona's Casanova area, a low-key spot for LGBTQ+ travelers and locals. It's one of those places that feels like a neighborhood bar, even if you’re just visiting. You could walk in alone and probably leave with a few new friends, or at least a few good stories. This isn't a club; it's a place to settle in, meet people, and just hang out. Barcelona's gay scene has a lot going on, but Sweet Café is for when you want a break from the big, noisy places. It’s got a comfortable, easygoing vibe. You’ll find it at 75 Carrer de Casanova. It’s central enough to be convenient, but still feels like a local secret. If you’re looking for a relaxed drink, or just a safe spot to unwind in the city, this is it.

A classic for us when we want to have a coffee and try things from Peru; it maintains the same quality as always. The staff is wonderful. We used to come here a lot more, but with the success of the cafe we have noticed that the dessert portions have decreased a bit. It's a shame that they have reduced the space, but everything is still excellent.
