This is a truly wonderful hotel, nestled along a quiet main street. The entrance is elegant and understated, yet possesses a strong presence; from the moment you step inside, you feel as if time is flowing with grace. The hotel was originally built in the 19th century by the Boada family, acquired by the cotton industry association, and then converted into a hotel in 2015. The interior, designed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, is breathtakingly beautiful, and I was deeply impressed by the stunning spaces throughout the building. Although I used points to book this stay using my Marriott Platinum status, I was upgraded multiple times, and by the time of my stay, I was in an Egyptian room with a balcony and patio. This room was spacious, offered great views, and had a large, clean bathroom sink—it was simply comfortable. The complimentary breakfast at Batuar, included with my Platinum status, was also a luxurious experience, with high-quality food served, and I was extremely satisfied. Furthermore, the pre-arrival email inquiries with the Gossypium department were quick and accurate. I was worried that I might have had overly high expectations, but the service upon arrival exceeded my expectations, making it one of my favorite hotels. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

A waiter (Mateo or something like that) at a recent wedding was very rude when delivering the tapas and refused to serve me.

Unrivaled beautiful and service. This hotel is a historic building being forth that in its decor and ambiance. The staff is world class as are the accomodations and amenities. The detail in the decor and curation is top notch. Amazing detail work in the hotel throughout. Rooms are comfortable and extremely well appointed. Highly recommended as this has set a new high bar for me.

I enjoyed the hotel tour, the breakfast was delicious, and the service was very pleasant. They made the bed frequently, the sheets were very soft, and I slept incredibly well.
