El Palace Barcelona

I have already done several hotel reviews, and among all the ones I have stayed at, I can assure you that the Hotel El Palace Barcelona has been the best so far. Hotel with a great location, just a few steps from various attractions, restaurants, and points of interest. The hotel is fantastic, with unparalleled and very luxurious decoration. All employees are helpful, polite, and always willing to help, as they resolved all requested demands and requests. Exceptional breakfast, with a lot of variety of fruits, cold cuts, breads, juices, and sweets. Quite spacious room, very comfortable bed and a bathroom of great size, with an extraordinary waterfall shower. Unfortunately, since we only stayed for three days, we didn't have dinner at the hotel's own restaurant, Amar, but it apparently seemed great. We had some drinks and appetizers on the rooftop (Garden) and everything was well served, drinks were well made and the service was fantastic, in addition to having a great view of Barcelona. I have no complaints, only compliments and thanks to the team at Hotel El Palace Barcelona. Congratulations on the phenomenal hotel!!!!

Aesthetically, El Palace Hotel is beyond beautiful but the real beauty and splendor of this establishment is the entire El Palace team without exception. Warm, welcoming, smiling personnel, providing a clean, pristine, plush respite from busy Barcelona sightseeing activities. Rooms and beds are so comfortable and we slept well without noise or disturbance. Breakfast spread was excellent but the cheerful, highly attentive breakfast team are the true stars. Adult daughter and I found El Palace to be a manageable walking distance or a short bus, metro, or cab ride to many attractions, bars, restaurants, cafes. As female travelers we felt safe in and around the hotel and notably after dark. Praise God our Barcelona adventure was fantastic and in great part due to the warmth and the impeccable service provided by the entire El Palace family. We would never consider staying anywhere else if ever in Barcelona again. Heartfelt thanks to all our friends at El Palace!

From your first arrival to your final good-by everyone is welcoming, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms are clean, quiet and well decorated. Everyone and everything exceeded our expectations again. I would highly recommend El Palace to anyone looking for the ultimate destination in Barcelona.

I write reviews when a place is particularly bad or exceptional. This was a particularly bad experience. Stayed here in this hotel for 4 nights in September through the Fine Hotels Program. I’ve stayed in other fine hotels and don’t expect too much just because of a credit card program but hospitality is literally the most important part of a hotel experience. Expected a lot from leading hotel. Rude front desk staff. We came early after a long flight. They were not welcoming. Treated like checking at holiday inn. Sounded exasperated and breathed a sigh of relief that was audible when we said we would not be using late check out. AC did not work in room effectively - we needed a fan. Apologized with a 10 euro bottle of wine and a bit of dessert, Good location and great service at the buffet. Nice rooftop pool and food. Buffet in it self was marginal- apart from jamon Iberico. First impressions matter. 2 stars.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay at El Palace Barcelona Our recent stay at El Palace Barcelona was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of service and attention to detail reflected everything you would expect from a world-class five-star hotel. A very special recognition goes to Miss Elisa from Guest Experience, who was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond throughout our stay, making every effort to ensure we were comfortable, well taken care of, and having the best possible experience. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine dedication to her guests are a wonderful reflection of the hospitality at El Palace. We also have to recognize Nacho at the Rooftop, who was outstanding! He made sure we were always well hydrated, well fed, and enjoying ourselves. His attentive and friendly service made our time on the rooftop even more memorable. We also thoroughly enjoyed Amar Barcelona. The restaurant manages to be understated yet elegant, with a beautiful atmosphere and delicious, flavorful food. It was a wonderful dining experience and complemented our stay perfectly. What really distinguishes El Palace Barcelona is its people. The beautiful surroundings and elegance of the hotel are impressive, but it is the exceptional hospitality and personalized service that make you want to return. Thank you to Elisa, Nacho, and the entire El Palace team for making our visit so special. This is five-star hospitality at its finest, and we look forward to returning!

It is a beautiful, classic hotel! It was born as the Ritz hotel, and even today, many drivers only identify it when you say The Ritz. The atmosphere is of a period luxury, I think from 1920. The furniture is opulent, preserved and maintained exquisitely. I love this type of hotel, and visiting them when I travel to the old continent is a privilege that I treasure and appreciate. I love the contemporary touches they add with the paintings that decorate its spaces. I have spent 8 days here, we celebrated my birthday in the intimacy of a lounge, where I enjoyed a serenade with my husband, my daughter and her boyfriend. If you have the opportunity to visit it, it is worth it. All the staff is dedicated to the attention of the guest. The terrace, pool, secret garden and outdoor cinema make it one of my favorites!!

5 stars for sure, gorgeous hotel, great location, friendly staff. Rooftop bar/pool is lovely. I would definitely stay again.

9/10. Loved this hotel. Almost everything about this hotel feels like old money. I loved it. The only thing I didn’t like was the rooftop restaurant. The service was mediocre but the food was good once you received it. Be aware though. If you pay at your table, you may be charged again at check out. No fear though, if it happens to you, make sure you have a screenshot of the charge as well as the time it was charged. The reception will make it right once you provide a screenshot with no questions asked. They were very polite about that dispute. The concierge was top tier! Everyone was extremely polite and friendly. They helped us so much with everything without it feeling like a burden.

One of the most memorable stay for me in Europe since Le Bristol in Paris. One of the best checkin experiences ever thanks to a very welcoming staff (Mr Ahmad) and rest of the team. Concierge gave us with great recommendations for dinner and helped us reserve. Great breakfast buffet. And hotel stands true the the word “Palace” in terms of service, cleanliness and politeness from everyone around here. Thanks and until next time
