About this place Al Maximo

Al Maximo: A low-key gay bar in Girona's Borne, where conversation and good mojitos are the main draw. This is a bar that feels like a bar, not a concept. It’s in Borne, one of Girona’s oldest neighborhoods, and the vibe is easygoing, the kind of place you drop into for a drink and end up staying for a few. Locals like it, and visitors who want to avoid anything too touristy will too. You won't find thumping music or a big dance floor here. Instead, it’s a spot for talking, for meeting people, and for getting a decent drink. The bartenders know their way around a mojito, and the space itself is small, comfortable—no unnecessary flash. Girona’s LGBTQ+ scene isn’t huge, but what it has is concentrated in the old town. Al Maximo fits right in with the Spanish tradition of neighborhood gay bars: approachable, friendly, and focused on genuine hospitality. It’s perfect for winding down after a day spent wandering Girona’s medieval streets. You’ll find Al Maximo at 5 Carrer del Migdia. Excellent men or womens clothing with real style and élégance appealing to all ages if the people in the Shop were an example. Good service but probably slightly understaffed on the day.

Honestly, Jennifer treated me with such tact during a difficult time that I've become a loyal customer. Great team!

The staff at this store were extremely rude. They opened the fitting room while I was changing.

Today I received disappointing service at the Massimo Dutti store in Girona (around 10:58 am at checkout lane 1). At first, I asked the sales assistant if she could give me a gift receipt and a gift envelope, and she replied, "Well, no envelope, we have a bag." I told her that was fine. Meanwhile, at the other checkout, they were helping my daughter, and they were wrapping the same item with tissue paper, adhesive tape, and a bag very carefully, without anyone asking. Seeing this and noticing that they had just placed my trousers in the bag as is, I asked her directly, "Why don't you wrap them for me like my daughter did? It looks much better on her." The sales assistant reacted rudely and unprofessionally, replying, "Oh, I forgot, I hope I don't forget now. Goodness, ma'am, how rude. And you should have asked me nicely." I simply explained that, having requested it as a gift, I was surprised that it wasn't wrapped the same way as my daughter's, who hadn't even asked for it. I simply preferred that my product be prepared as a gift, as I had emphasized from the beginning, and then politely left, even though they reluctantly gave me the bag. I consider this type of treatment unacceptable and unprofessional, and that this behavior negatively impacts Massimo Dutti's image due to the lack of respect and professionalism shown in customer service.
