Delirio, on Calle de Pelayo, is a gay bar to know about in Madrid’s Chueca neighborhood, especially on a Thursday.
Most Madrid clubs shut down mid-week. Not Delirio. That makes it a reliable spot for a Thursday night out, when other places are dark.
Chueca is where Madrid's LGBTQ+ scene happens. Gay bars, clubs, restaurants, and shops line the streets. It’s an easygoing, social area all week long. Delirio fits right into that, a place for drinks and conversation, whether you're a local or just passing through.
If you're in Madrid and want to go out on a night when other options are slim, Delirio is a solid choice. Check their Facebook page for current hours or any specific events.

The way one of the doormen treated us was shameful, he was rude, the music could be much better... I won't be back, that's for sure.
Terrible music, they should play a wider variety. It's more of a men's bar if you're legal, haha.
I have a better selection of drinks at home
Yesterday I went to Delirio with my friends. We arrived late and stayed until the end. We had a great time, the music is good, everyone was very friendly, and I even forgot my wallet and they returned it to me today—nothing was missing! I'm so grateful they were so kind to me and kept my things safe. I highly recommend it! If you're in Madrid, it's a must-visit. Thanks for everything, guys, you're the best!
