The Plaza de Pedro Zerolo is a small but very symbolic square located in the Chueca neighborhood of Madrid — the epicenter of the city’s LGBTQ+ community. The square was renamed in honor of Pedro Zerolo (1960–2015), a prominent politician, lawyer and LGBTQ+ rights activist in Spain. He played a decisive role in the adoption of same-sex marriage in the country in 2005 — a historic milestone in Europe. The square is surrounded by bars, cafes and typical Chueca nightlife — vibrant, cosmopolitan and open. It is a place for both daytime and evening meetings. It's worth seeing!

This small square in the centre of Madrid is surrounded by historic 19th-century buildings. It was renamed in 2016 in honor of gay politician Pedro Zerolo (1960-2015), who zealously defended the rights of sex minorities in Spain and became an icon for them.

She's cool for gay pride, the lesbians. There is even a hotel the Room Mate Oscar. There is a very happy atmosphere, but now in June it is hot to start crying and a blazing sun of justice.

As temperatures were hitting 100 degrees plus my twin brother Stephen and I walked onto Plaza De Pedro Zarolo to hit a bar for a cooling beer ,its a great square that's always well worth visiting. The square is formed by great looking buildings ,in the square is Monumento Vazquez De Mella andc around the square are some great cafe's, bars and restaurants, we enjoyed iced cold beers in Taberna Toma Jamon ,all in all we had a great time on this square that's most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Although the Plaza De Pedro Zerolo is not one of the most beautiful plaza's in Madrid ,it is a nice plaza to chill out in as it's not packed with tourists even though it's in the really cool Justica neighbourhood. There are some really good cafe's and restaurants around the square, we chilled out and had a few beers in a couple of bars in the plaza as temperatures were hitting the mid 30's, there's a really good monument which is the centerpiece of Plaza De Pedro Zerolo called Monumento Vazquez De Mella which looks superb,its a fountain and monument and makes for some great photographic opportunities. A nice plaza,well worth checking out if your in the area.
