Hostel Room Pride is a small budget guesthouse at Calle de San Bartolomé 2, at the Gran Vía end of Chueca, Madrid's gay district. Rooms are simple, with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. The name and location aim it at LGBTQ+ travellers, and it rates 4.2 from about 340 Google reviews. The address puts you within a few minutes' walk of Plaza de Chueca's bars. Excellent!!... The room I had was beautiful!!!... The service was just as good as any hotel... The staff was very attentive, friendly, and caring... They sent me WhatsApp messages to check if I needed anything, if I was okay, etc. Congratulations to everyone and thank you!

It's a very basic hostel, but very clean. Camila's service at reception is impeccable, and the gentleman on duty at night is also very friendly. They skipped cleaning one of the three days, and we didn't know why. The bathroom is tiny, but adequate, with good water pressure. The closet is fine for three days. What really bothered me was the air conditioning, which was positioned directly towards my head while I was sleeping. No matter how low I set it, the cold air still hit me. Sleeping without air conditioning, with temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius at night, wasn't an option, so I got sick. Oh well. This was in room 48. I don't know what it's like in the others. The air conditioning was new and very good. The location is in Chueca, full of restaurants open late. Another tip: ask for a room at the back so you don't hear the street noise. That's what they gave us.

This is my second time here. Everything is great, the rooms are very comfortable and the cleanliness is impeccable. The location is perfect. The most outstanding thing is the staff—super friendly and attentive. Jose has helped me most of the time, and I'm delighted with his attention and kindness. Thank you!

The location is excellent; I can just drop off my shopping and keep going, all within walking distance. It's a bit noisy at night, but keep in mind that it's in an area with a lot of nightlife. The room was spotless and had everything we needed!

Ideal location in the center of Madrid, comfortable and quiet. And friendly service.
