Hostal La Zona never disappoints. Clean room, a kitchenette where you can make coffee and have breakfast in good conditions, and an ideal location.

It's great.

Simple hostel, good value for money. Everything works. It has a shared dining area with two tables open 24 hours, dishes, cutlery, an automatic coffee machine, a refrigerator, a toaster, and a microwave. Excellent location. Recommended if you're on a budget.

I enjoyed a 4 night stay while visiting Madrid. The hostal is in an ideal location being only one block away from Gran Via, despite being so close the area is mostly quiet and free from vehicle noise. The street is not a main road so through traffic is limited and it is very pedestrian friendly. I chose the Corner Double room and enjoyed having two small balconies. The room had some practical elements to it such as a small table and chairs and shelves and space to hang clothes. The AC worked well. The bathroom was compact but spotless. In the common area was a large fridge and a microwave and coffee making equipment. There is a metro station only a short walk away. Overall a delightful stay in a clean and tidy hostal.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I stayed 5 days at Hostal La Zona and had a great experience. The beds were very comfortable and clean, the place is quiet, and everything is well organized for a pleasant stay. There’s a small kitchen with everything you need and a nice spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Rooms are bright, have good air conditioning, and feel cozy. The best part is the amazing attention and kindness of Javi, Sebastián, and Gonzalo, who make everything easier. Highly recommended — it will be my first choice when I return to Madrid! 🇪🇸☀️

It is more like local residential and we love their building wood front door and staircase. They even free provide coffee and biscuit. The budget hostal is closed to Grad Via and metro. It is good for young people who like night life. Elder people who needs to sleep early skip Friday and Saturday because there is a disco club across from the street or avoid the room faces C. de Valverde street.

Close to the metro. No check-in time issues. The bed was very comfortable.

This hostel is great. Its location is perfect, the service is excellent, and the room was quite comfortable. It's a one-star hostel, yet they did several things that were really helpful. We arrived in Madrid at 5:00 am, and check-in wasn't until 12:00 pm. They let us in as soon as the room was ready, and they looked after our bags at a later time when we had something else to do. Madrid is an extremely busy city, so the outside noise is always there. We loved the soundproof windows, so we were able to rest. They're great, and we would definitely stay there again.
