Well suited for a short stay, centrally located!

Very clean and well-equipped, no noise at all, and an excellent location. On the downside, my room overlooked an interior courtyard that the hostel uses for drying towels, which reduced privacy somewhat.

I booked a one-week stay in February 2026 via booking.com in October 2025. I received immediate booking confirmation. Three weeks before my trip, the hotel canceled the booking, citing an incomprehensible reason, presumably in Polish (why not in German, the language in which the cancellation email was written?). Booking.com forwarded the cancellation to me without offering any alternatives with the same or similar price-performance ratio. Since my flight tickets to Madrid had already been booked in October 2025 for February 2026, I had no choice but to book a different hotel at significantly higher prices at short notice. This might lead one to suspect that the hotel is operating under the influence: offering low early booking rates to attract guests, and then, once the hotel is fully booked and there are other interested parties, simply canceling the early bookings made at lower prices.

We just arrived, a group of three, with a reservation for two rooms. Upon arrival, we were told that our rooms had been cancelled due to problems and that we were only offered the option of sharing one room. It's been renovated, but only superficially. There were hairs in the bathroom. In short, I absolutely do not recommend it.

Unprofessional They cancelled our stay with the excuse that they couldn't accommodate us 2 months before our trip and while we had booked it months ago at a good price now everything is more expensive

The hotel suddenly canceled my reservation just one day before my stay. I had made a reservation two months in advance. I'm skeptical of their customer service and hotel management mindset.

The experience was amazing! 😂 The hotel, without us even knowing it, is themed around Africa. The theme is really cool, although I understand it might not be to everyone's taste based on the reviews. The rooms are fine, although the heating doesn't work perfectly. The location is unbeatable.
