We stayed for six nights; it was our hotel in Madrid, and we took the opportunity to celebrate our anniversary. It was an unforgettable experience. Upon arrival, a welcome gift awaited us, and three days later, another dessert was waiting in our room. They asked if we were enjoying ourselves, without us even asking, just because. That perfectly sums up the hotel's spirit. The place is beautiful, clean, and has live music every afternoon in the restaurant. The picanha skewers are spectacular; don't miss them. Breakfast was included in our reservation, and wow! It was delicious and varied, and we could also order à la carte. From cheeses, meats, fruits, yogurts, and desserts (cakes, tarts, and sweet rolls) to juices, champagne, and everything you need for Bloody Marys. The moment that truly impressed us was at check-out: the taxi driver they had arranged for us forgot to bring my laptop to the airport. The hotel staff helped us contact him and stayed with us until we had it back. That goes far beyond their responsibilities. We would return without hesitation; in fact, we're going back in September. A hotel for an incredible experience in the heart of Madrid. The stay, the service, the amenities, and the location—it has it all.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms comfortable with many thoughtful touches. The service is what could be improved (although we did encounter some very kind people, including the staff at the pool area, both at the pool bar and in the massage area). We extended our stay to enjoy a morning at the pool, given the Madrid heat… but we found ourselves waiting from 10 am, the pool's opening time, for the lifeguard to appear… nobody knows anything, there's no explanation… much less a replacement. Can a 4-star hotel, with such a high nightly rate, afford this kind of poor management? Not having a backup plan? It really reflects very poorly on us.

Overall, it's a very good hotel. Excellent location, as is the breakfast. The room isn't very large and the bed wasn't king size, but it was a good room. Unfortunately, the room didn't have a pleasant smell due to an odor coming from the drain. The maid didn't replenish the shampoo daily.
