Bear Carnival Gran Canaria happens during the island’s main Carnival season, in February and March. It's one of Europe’s biggest bear events.
Thousands of bears, cubs, and their fans from all over Europe come to Maspalomas for two weeks. Think beach parties, pool events, and the legendary carnival parade.
You get warm Canarian winter sun, plus a full schedule of bear-focused events: pool parties at Playa del Inglés hotels, bear brunches, nights at the Yumbo Centre, and the Carnival Drag Gala at the Maspalomas Auditorium. The Gran Canaria carnival itself is a big deal in Spain, only Tenerife’s is bigger.
