What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, particularly the animation team, and highlight the plentiful and good quality food. A common complaint is the lack of a fridge in standard rooms, with some finding the rooms a little dated.

About this place Servatur Waikiki

Servatur Waikiki is one of the most popular gay resort hotels in Playa del Inglés — a property that has established a reliable reputation among the regular Gran Canaria gay visitor circuit as a comfortable, well-positioned base for a Yumbo-centred stay. The hotel's proximity to the Yumbo Center is the primary practical advantage: the complex is walkable, which matters considerably when the question of getting home after a night in the Yumbo presents itself at 4am. The pool and sun terrace serve the resort hotel social function — a place to recover from the previous night, meet other guests, and plan the next one. The hotel attracts a strongly repeat-visitor clientele: people who have been coming to Gran Canaria for years, who know the Yumbo circuit, and who have settled on Servatur Waikiki as their preferred base through accumulated experience. The combination of location, price, and the specific social culture of an established gay resort hotel makes it one of the default recommendations for first-time visitors to the Maspalomas gay scene.

Spent 10 days here with 3 kids all of us really enjoyed it, Hotel is very clean staff are really friendly and helpful we had 2 rooms as we are a family of 5 and i assume when we booked all the family rooms were gone. Would have been nice to have the rooms adjoining but being a few doors apart wasnt a huge issue. 20min walk to the beach or the hotel has a shuttle service. food is your standard all inclusive service which was good. Entertainment is ok. There are activities through out the day which again are ok. Pool is a decent size never felt over crowded, and there is a splash area for little ones. The sun beds to get taken up fast so if your spend the day at the hotel i would get your towels out early as thats what everyone else seems to do! All in all we had a great time here and would come again.

The hotel is fine, but it generally needs some work. The staff and food are the best, and the entertainment team is good, especially for children. I would return.
