Lopesan Baobab Resort
Many visitors praise the hotel's unique African atmosphere, stunning decoration, lush vegetation, and attentive staff. However, common complaints include issues with the "Unique" surcharge not being worth the cost, difficulty finding sun loungers, and some finding the food basic with disappointing desserts. Some also mention rooms needing updates and occasional noise disturbances.

Top hotel, best just before or after the holidays.
The Unique surcharge is absolutely not worth it in my opinion. Waiting 30-45 minutes every day for the Unique breakfast with a child was incredibly annoying. At lunchtime, the exclusive lounge only offered chips and drinks. I never once found two free sun loungers in the Unique area, nor in the public area. Everything was reserved with towels. It was simply too crowded. The kids' area is nice, but there isn't much for children over 10 besides the football pitch, and the entertainer didn't speak German and only seemed to entertain the children from England. The pools weren't heated in winter and were freezing cold. I think the Lopesan across the street is better.
We had a wonderful time! Great service, great people and the atmosphere was fantastic. We enjoyed every second!
The hotel and all the facilities were really nice, the only downside was the food was very basic and the desserts were super disappointing.
