Passeig Maritim: The waterfront promenade in Sitges, a known cruising spot, particularly active from dusk onward.
You’ll find Passeig Maritim along Sitges’ waterfront, running from Hotel Calipolis and south. It’s been a gathering place for the LGBTQ+ community for years, especially after the sun goes down, when it gets busy with both locals and people visiting.
Sitges has always drawn queer travelers, and this promenade is a big part of that. It’s right on the beach, so you get that relaxed, open-air vibe, good for watching the sea and hanging out with people who get it. The town itself has plenty of gay-friendly bars, clubs, and beaches, so the Maritim just slots right into Sitges’ existing scene.
If you're looking for Sitges’ outdoor social life, this stretch of waterfront is where it's at, especially as evening turns into night. It's easy to find, at 16 Carrer d'Antoni Gaudí, just a short walk from the town center. It’s one of the more recognizable spots in Sitges for a good reason.

The promenade gives access to jetties and many restaurants as well as small historic streets. It is pleasant but the beach is not particularly beautiful.
Beautiful and pleasant walk along the beach on one side and terraces, bars and restaurants on the other. Some buildings decorate this place.
To be in Sitges is to be engulfed by the sun, the sea and the Mediterranean breeze. Now, imagine adding to that pleasure the experience of a wellness center on the move: massages and therapies that reach you, wherever you are, so that your body and mind relax without interrupting your day. An intimate and exclusive luxury, designed for those who know how to enjoy every moment.
A precise place to stroll after a good seafood at one of its many restaurants, a very picturesque and relaxing walk
The walk along the beach becomes very pleasant, you can see houses, restaurants hotels and other things while being accompanied by the sea. Unmissable walk if you go to Stiges. We went in January and had the good fortune of a sunny day!
This is the most beautiful promenade. It is so clean and allows easy walking into Sitges town itself. With the elegant houses on one side and the sparkling Mediterranean on the other, it’s a pleasure to the senses.
The views from this boardwalk were incredible! The boardwalk was well kept and clean. We felt very safe even walking late at night. This boardwalk didn't feel too crowded either. We love a beach with a boardwalk, and this boardwalk along the beach was one of our favorites!
The walk is 2.5 km from the Church of San Bartolome to the hotel at the other end. It is a wide and clean promenade along which there are bars, restaurants and beach bars. As we walk through it we can see impressive mansions of Indians and businessmen who settled there at the beginning of the last century.
Lovely walking area. So flat. Taking in all the sights of Sitges passing lots of nice restaurants, bars and hotels. Already planning a trip back.
We just wanted to get out of Barcelona and stroll along the promenade in a quiet place and enjoy the sea. It was a sunny day in January and we really liked Sitges. Anyone expecting one of the usual holiday hotspots with no style will be pleasantly surprised.
