Before we arrived, they asked us what time we would check in. We indicated that we would arrive between 7:00 and 8:00 PM and notified them half an hour beforehand, but we had trouble parking and arrived at 7:50 PM. Even so, the person who checked us in wasn't very friendly and asked us to explain the delay. The room was clean, and it was appreciated that they offered complimentary water, coffee, and other drinks. However, during the night I started coughing and even had difficulty breathing. The next day we noticed that the room was very humid, possibly due to a leak or similar problem. I understand that being close to the beach might cause some humidity, but I think they should check it and fix it as soon as possible, as it can be harmful, especially for people with asthma or respiratory problems. After contacting Booking.com, they finally refunded us for both nights. The location is very good and the cleanliness was adequate, but in my case, the humidity caused respiratory problems that lasted for several days.

What could go wrong in such a beautiful hotel and such a great location? They don't have soap! Because they weren't expecting us (we booked a month in advance and there were other guests). This is the first time I've ever bought soap for a hotel stay. No apology, nothing, no soap. Not even on the second day. You can imagine the level of indifference towards guests.

This service is unacceptable. We made an afternoon reservation with a confirmed arrival time, but upon arrival, we found the doors locked, the lights off, and apparently no one there. When we called to complain, they told us they were unaware of the reservation and that our accommodation (which we had already paid for) wasn't ready, offering neither a solution nor an apology. I hope they are prohibited from offering this service and that there are consequences for this. It's unbelievable; I've never encountered this situation before.

The service and staff were appalling, shameful, and dreadful! Deplorable and should be reported. After making the reservation on Tuesday afternoon, specifying our arrival time, and receiving the confirmation email with the entry number and PIN, and the payment already processed, we arrived at the hotel at 10 PM to check in. Everything was dark and locked up tight. Seeing the (poorly maintained) state of the facade from the outside, we already knew what was going to happen. We called the owner, and far from apologizing, he insisted that there was no valid reservation because he hadn't read anything, it was low season, he wasn't monitoring the situation, and besides, there was no one available to come and prepare the room. Excuse me? You charged me €117 for a service you didn't provide (because, according to you, you didn't read the booking, which is your job), and you didn't even apologize or offer me an alternative. You advertise and list rooms on Booking.com so people can make reservations; be consistent and responsible with those reservations and cancel them beforehand, or at least check the website. We'll see you at 10 PM in Sitges, stranded on the street. Shameful, unprofessional, lacking in customer service and empathy. People like you shouldn't be in this line of work because it's a real disgrace. When you go on vacation, let them do the same to you and see how you like it. Have some humility, man!
