About this place Hotel Celimar

Hotel Celimar is a mid-range hotel on Passeig de la Ribera, the seafront promenade in central Sitges. It is a mainstream hotel listed as gay-friendly. In Sitges that is ordinary, and the town's gay bars on Carrer Primer de Maig and Carrer de Sant Bonaventura are a few minutes' walk away. Google reviewers give it 3.7 from about 650 reviews, so check recent comments on room condition. Sea-view rooms are the reason to book here. Expect noise from the promenade on summer nights and during Carnival and Pride, when prices also peak.

There is a cafeteria open to everyone, two of us sat down to order two coffees, a water and a croissant and they told us that you can't sit down to order coffees.

We had some cocktails which were very simple, expensive, and completely lacking in flavor; they're really not worth it.

A terrible experience. We had only a few days of vacation and took advantage of five days in August to go to Siges. We booked a spacious and bright exterior room with a terrace at the Hotel Picadilly, part of the same hotel group. When we arrived, they told us it was full and moved us to the Hotel Celimar, which was better located, but a real disappointment. It was an interior room with a terrace full of smells and pipes, covered by solar panels. The room was smaller. It was nothing like what we had booked. We requested a change because a booking website showed availability at both hotels. They did nothing about it, and we left a night earlier than planned. We have filed the appropriate complaints and are still pursuing them. Think carefully if you want to have a truly awful vacation...

I spent a weekend in Sitges for the first time in my life, staying at the Celimar, first I was surprised by the price for the location, the cleanliness in the rooms was more than adequate and the staff was very nice, I'm sure I'll repeat

This review is only for the waiter of the terrace called: Marc Prat. Wow. If every service would be so attentive, Spain would be a better place 🤩❤️ Muchas gracias Marc
