About this place Hotel El Xalet

Hotel El Xalet is a boutique gay-friendly property housed in one of Sitges's characteristic 19th-century villas — the kind of building that makes the old town architecturally distinct from the standard Mediterranean resort. The hotel offers individually decorated rooms, a garden terrace, and the personalised service that small independent properties can provide when larger hotels cannot. Gay-friendly in the full sense rather than the corporate sense: the welcome is genuine, the atmosphere relaxed, and the other guests predictably representative of the international gay traveller market that Sitges attracts. The old town location gives easy access to the beach promenade, Carrer del Pecat, and the main cultural attractions of the town. El Xalet represents the smaller-scale, boutique end of Sitges gay accommodation — an alternative to the larger gay hotels for those who prefer fewer rooms, more character, and a more personal sense of being in someone's house rather than a hotel.

A wonderful hotel with a unique atmosphere that has preserved its authentic spirit over the years. The rooms impress with beautifully painted walls and carefully renovated furniture, combining history and comfort. Everywhere is extremely clean, and the coziness makes one feel at home. A great place for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

This rating is for both the hotel and the restaurant. I honestly don't know why the restaurant isn't crowded. The food is great in every regard I can think of (and I think it's fair to call me a foodie), and the prices are more than fair. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is so nice!

This hotel deserves a 5 star review. Very clean, beautiful, well decorated and the location is amazing (a walkable distance from the train station or the airport shuttle). Additionally, the staff is very nice and welcoming. 10/10 I recommend!
