About this place Hotel Hellstens Malmgård

Hotel Hellstens Malmgård is a small mainstream hotel in an 18th-century wooden manor house on Brännkyrkagatan in western Södermalm. We list it as gay-friendly, not as a gay venue. The rooms are furnished with antiques and period pieces, so it feels nothing like a chain hotel. Google reviewers rate it 4.4 across about 770 reviews. Södermalm is where most of Stockholm's cafés, bars and nightlife are, including several of the city's gay venues. Mariatorget and Zinkensdamm metro stations are both a few minutes' walk away. Because the building is old, some rooms are small and lifts may be limited, so ask if that matters to you.

Rooms and bathrooms with insufficient space. Excellent breakfast. Coffee and tea as described.

I highly recommend it! The staff is welcoming, the location isn't in the center but it's close, so the price is affordable. The metro is very close, and there's plenty to see outside the old town center. The room was small, the breakfast was perfect, the cleanliness was impeccable, and coffee, tea, and water were available day and night.

Charming little hotel, located near iconic viewpoints overlooking Stockholm. City center easily accessible on foot or by metro (station 300m away). Good breakfast.
