Skeppsholmen

We went on snowy day and could not explore much and anyone looking for a Crown place it is present on both side of the bridge when entering to this island . We searched a lot but not on bridge

It’s a beautiful area just a little outside the city center — definitely worth visiting if you’re interested in morning walks, seeing old boats and the shipyard, and spending a bit of time by the sea.

Skeppsholmen is the most peaceful island in Stockholm. Walking around, you really feel like you’ve stepped away from the city’s hustle and bustle, and it gives such a calming experience. Skeppsholmen is such a serene vantage point in Stockholm — as you walk along the shore, you’re rewarded with sweeping views of Gamla Stan, Södermalm, Djurgården, and the elegant waterfront of Östermalm. The quiet waters, boats drifting by, and the silhouette of Kastellholmen with its castle (Kastellet) all add up to a truly calming panorama. A perfect place for slowing down and enjoying the city from a distance.

Compact Skeppsholmen island is known for its peaceful vibe and cultural attractions, including the Moderna Museet, which exhibits works by Picasso, and the Östasiatiska Museet with traditional Asian art. A walkway encircles the island and connects to the Skeppsholmen Bridge, which is embellished with a golden crown. The small, adjacent island of Kastellholmen has a quaint, turreted 19th-century castle.

I can be found here for the entire month of October. It will be great to catch up with family and friends in one of my favorite places in the world.
