Arosa Mountain Lodge

Great, with good snow conditions, you can go directly from the ski depot to the slopes, otherwise it's a 5-minute walk.

Simple, clean accommodation near the ski slopes with simple, good food, a nice salad buffet, and very dedicated and friendly staff.

The hostel was very run-down and noisy, typical of a youth hostel. There was constant stomping and banging around us until late into the night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, but dinner was often overcooked. The dining room was too small for all the guests, so we had to eat in shifts.

Great location, ski slopes just steps away. Nice, cheerful, and friendly staff. We weren't impressed with the dinner. We stayed for three nights. The same salads were always available, and we found the main courses bland and boring. We found the common areas uninviting, bare, cold, and simply not very cozy. However, the price-performance ratio is good. Spacious rooms and plenty of space to relax after skiing.

I had a single room. The room was spotlessly clean and functionally furnished. The reception was friendly, and everything went quickly and smoothly. However, in my opinion, the price/performance ratio isn't right. The Mountain Lodge is a large youth hostel (with a lot of beds and common areas) – Mountain Youth Hostel would be a more accurate name. The furnishings (see photos) are really unappealing and outdated. The breakfast was okay and sufficient, but nothing special.

Arosa is so beautiful, and we were so happy to enjoy the lovely autumn weather. We especially loved the fantastic view from the balcony at the Mountain Lodge. Everything was very clean and well-organized. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back. The location is great, perfectly situated in the middle of town.

Excellent service from wonderful staff. The room furnishings are a bit dated, but everything is clean and functional. The balcony offers a magnificent view. The chair and table are inviting. We had half-board during our stay and were very happy with it. The breakfast buffet is continental and extensive. Dinner includes a salad buffet, soup, a main course (including a vegetarian option), and dessert. I can recommend it. Markus and Gaby were incredibly helpful with tips about Arosa and the surrounding area. We received an email in advance informing us that the ArosaCard would be available from 8:30 a.m. on our arrival day. Top-notch service.

This was my third visit to the lodge with its simple but clean rooms. Since it's a hostel, that's perfectly acceptable. The view from the balcony is fantastic, but unfortunately, I found the room a bit noisy. However, you usually only hear the creaking of the wood if someone else steps onto the balcony. The food was tasty and plentiful, with a good selection. I always found the staff to be warm and friendly. I think I'll be back again next year for the Arosa Classic Car Rally.

Above Arosa. Beautiful view. Simple hotel. Toilets and showers are partially located in the hallway. Some rooms have footbeds. Very friendly staff. Food is simple but good. Good value for money.
