We really enjoyed our stay at Giessen Hotel & Coffeehouse. We had bagels for lunch and then stayed overnight. It‘s all digital check-in with the key on the phone which works really well. There is a good bike storage room. The room we stayed in was to the backside which was very quiet and nice view of the castle. Breakfast was plentiful and coffee excellent

Recommend reserving a room in the back side of the hotel if staying here. The street side has a lot of traffic 24 hours a day which makes it impossible to enjoy oneself because it’s very noisy when the windows are open or sitting on the balcony. Hotel is clean and self serve. No employees after cafe closes.

Air conditioning is illegal in Liechtenstein so be prepared if you come in the summer although it does cool down later in the evenings. There is no attendant which was writers but the check in process was straightforward. The breakfast options are great and the people you do run into are very nice. The hotel is almost a mile from downtown and is a very nice walk. I would definitely return here.

The hotel's self-check-in is very easy to do without being an electronics genius. It's a shame I only speak German and English, but we managed somehow. The cleanliness is top-notch, the room is comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. It's a shame there's no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan. The location is quiet, there's a café on the ground floor, and there's a covered garage. Good value for money. Recommended.
