It's a nice hotel, but they definitely still have room for improvement.

It's good, but there are much better hotels in the luxury segment in the Swiss Alps. Not a premium hotel in my opinion.

THE GRAND FINALE REPORT: SUNDAY MARCH 8, 2026 As previously mentioned, The Tschuggen Hotel's housekeeping department is top notch. Kristina, who effects our morning clean-up and nightly turn-down service is amazing in her organizing skills. She daily tidy-ups our balcony, assuring that the ultra comfy loungers are put back in place. "Moving Mountains" is The Tschuggen's credo, and our room was situated so close to The Alps that I could almost nudge them! Born with a green thumb, I was privileged to care for "Jamaica", the gorgeous succulent plant that I named that was living in our room. The vast, yet cozy bar adjacent to the reception and Grand Dining Room is expertly manned by Sven and Master Mixologist Louis. Louis rivals the very best bartenders in the world ~ even the vaunted Japanese, with his astonishing silky smooth speed and vast knowledge of world class spirits. An accomplished piano and guitar duo are accompanied by a vocalist every evening, performing above a glossy dance floor where sweet mambo memories are made. The bar features a classic dinner menu, available for those of us like me, that occasionally prefer to dine alone like Stallone. A unique dinner 1st course presentation was a rolled-up like Cleopatra prosciutto slice on a stick, being steamed by the scrumptious barley soup bowl underneath. Robert Jakob Guse, the Food & Beverage Manager, is one of the most intelligent and capable F&B's that I have met in my over 55 years of serving in the hospitality industry. Similar to Julius Caesar, he works side-by-side with his servers and sets the example of providing extraordinary empathetic kindness to all hotel patrons. The Basement, our favorite restaurant on property, is managed by Jana, an extremely friendly and very, very competent leader, who prides herself in providing ultimate guest satisfaction. Mentored by Jana, Jessica is the #1 server we were honored to be served by during our 15 day stay. Jessica emanates heartfelt kindness, and her bright eyes and loving smile lighten up the entire dining room. Don Francesco, The Basement restaurant's Executive Chef from Rome, hand-makes his epicurean al dente fresh pasta. His tagliatelle bolognese was the very best that I have ever enjoyed, even better than his hometown's Osteria da Fortunata. The spa at The Tschuggen parallels the very best in the world. Resembling an interstellar spaceship, upon entering the modern and elegant oasis, guests are immediately transported into a realm of tranquility. Featuring all types of bien-être and d'amélioration corporellee enhancements, the spa's steam room is a cocoon of relaxation and toxin release. The wonderfully warm family pool, even has a specially cordoned-off lap lane, as well as an outdoor area for enjoying the Alpine serenity. Having been blessed to stay at many 5 star hotels around the world, General Manager Silvana Schlösser and her extraordinary staff, tremendously elevated our vacation experience. And as depicted in their logo, and why we are returning for 15 nights in 2027, The Tschuggen is most definitely a SIX Star Hotel! ALBERT GARCIA CME IMMOBILIEN FRANKFURT, GERMANY
