About this place Aqualis

Aqualis is a gay men's sauna and cruising club in Bern, on Brunnmattstrasse a short walk from the main station. The multi-level bathhouse offers a Finnish sauna, steam bath, whirlpool and a warren of private cabins and darker cruising areas, and it runs a calendar of themed men's evenings — naked, underwear and fetish nights among them — through the year. Guests describe it as clean and well kept with friendly staff, and it keeps the polished, discreet feel typical of Swiss saunas. Some reviewers note that prices run high, with drinks charged separately, and that quiet weeknights can feel sparsely attended. It holds roughly a 4.2 Google rating across 140-plus reviews.

This is one of th most expensive and least crowded saunas I have ever been to in Europe. Mostly, I saw older generation people there. For the price, I felt the sauna was small. You also need to pay extra to drink water. The staff was nice, and the facility was clean.

It's OK and clean. The decor seems a bit "cold" to me.
