Sahne

Çankaya Sahne has a fairly modest entrance that first feels like a small café, but once you head downstairs, you realize the venue is actually quite spacious. The décor is minimal and understated, allowing the focus to remain on the performance itself. We watched Florian Zeller’s Anne / The Mother, part of his well-known trilogy. The actors were all quite solid, but the lead actress portraying Anne was especially impressive and carried the emotional weight of the play very well. The performance space itself is comfortable and intimate enough to make live theater feel engaging without being overwhelming. While the venue may not be extravagant in appearance, it serves its purpose well and creates a good environment for stage productions. Overall, it was a pleasant theater experience, and I would definitely recommend Çankaya Sahne to anyone interested in watching live performances or supporting local theater productions.

It's always been a wonderful stage. We've been going to see plays there regularly for the past three years.

The seating is uncomfortable, and the lack of a panoramic view can make it difficult to see the stage.
