NOA’S Boutique Hotel

After a long journey, we were looking for a nice hotel room with a bathtub. We were so tired that we were willing to pay more for comfort. Unfortunately, this was a mistake because the comfort was lacking. Filling the bathtub was very difficult due to insufficient water pressure. The hotel advises guests to use water sparingly, but this was also very difficult as the water had to run for a very long time to heat up. The bed sheets and towels were not clean. They had been washed, but were stained and very worn. The pillows were just lumpy. In the bathroom, the electrical outlet next to the sink was loosely hanging on the wall, posing a serious safety hazard. The shampoo dispensers in the bathroom were not working. The pictures online look very nice, but don't be fooled. The only positive thing was the friendliness of the gentleman at reception. Another significant point of criticism was the large construction site right next to the hotel.

We left Noas Hotel in Kaleiçi today and were truly delighted. The hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to get everywhere. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We were especially pleased with the attentiveness and friendly demeanor of Şengül, who was very helpful in every way. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone staying in Kaleiçi. 🫶🙂

Here are some things that will stick in my mind: 1. Never believe the pictures. The room I saw in Agoda is nothing like the one I saw. The paint on the walls is peeling, and the ceiling is blackened with dampness. 2. The room is cramped, and if you have respiratory or asthma problems, the heavy dusting of the plaster between the stone walls will give even the strongest person a whooping cough, and you will never be able to sleep. 3. Because they didn't inform the room service ladies, staff enter your room while you are in bed. As if that wasn't enough, a handyman is waiting to enter the room. It turns out the room they rented us was a room that needed renovation. What does it mean to be called 3 times and asked when we can leave the room? 4. The person named Sebahat, who introduced herself as the hotel owner or whatever she called herself, is incredibly ignorant. This person, likely over 50, not only makes excuses when you report your complaints but also believes she is right. When we wanted to check out, the calculation she made to avoid giving us back the fee for the next day, which we had paid in advance, was a mathematical massacre. They gave our room to someone else. We didn't receive any service. We didn't get any attention or care. I don't recommend it.

The room is in this condition, and the smell is unbearable. There are no slippers, no water, and the toilets are in terrible condition. How can you provide rooms like this? Isn't there any regulatory body that inspects you? A person would get sick if they stayed in this room for one night. Those who want to smell damp all night long should choose room 203.
