Jurys Inn Birmingham

Good location for Utilita arena event and have stayed here previously but may consider staying elsewhere next time we visit Birmingham for an event. Definitely not as good as previously. Executive room didn't feel much different from standard rooms elsewhere.

Everything was great and much better than we expected for the price we paid. Breakfast was really nice and the lady making the omelettes made them perfectly, was friendly and went over and above in her customer service (sorry we forgot to ask her name)Thankyou

Briefly visited for a meeting venue. Staff friendly. Lunch mediocre.

The hotel was great, the rooms were large, comfortable, clean, and the location was great, but the first impression was terrible – I arrived late and saw two security guards at the hotel entrance approaching me as soon as I walked in. It simply looked bad, and I also felt uncomfortable returning from the city the following night when the men at the entrance were staring at me or asking for my room number. I don't want to be subjected to such checks, nor do I like being checked; I didn't like it at all. I'm getting older, and after a drink in the city, I don't feel like talking to anyone or explaining anything to anyone when entering my room. I understand the security concerns, but I prefer places that keep their doors open for guests, and security is simply discreet and minimal.

We had an amazing experience. Definitely going back.
