About this place Hotel Pelirocco

Hotel Pelirocco is one of Brighton's most characterful places to stay, a boutique hotel on Regency Square just back from the seafront where every room is individually themed around music, pop culture and British subculture. Its cheeky, rock and roll personality has made it a long-standing favourite with LGBTQ+ travellers who want somewhere with more attitude than a chain hotel. While it is a gay-friendly rather than exclusively gay hotel, it has a genuine reputation for welcoming queer guests and sits within walking distance of the Kemptown scene along the seafront. Expect a small bar, a relaxed vibe and rooms that range from compact to extravagant. It is a good base for a Brighton weekend, particularly for visitors who value design and individuality over corporate polish.

Second time to this eclectic ever-inspiring true art piece of an hotel. Loved every second of our stay. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area, extremely friendly and always helpful. The breakfast is perfect. It is a 6 stars DIY chef d'oeuvre. Long lives the Pelirocco!

We were extremely uncomfortable staying here as a family. The hotel should make it much clearer that some of the rooms and the overall atmosphere are heavily adult-themed. There were inappropriate signs and sexual references throughout the hotel, including messages encouraging guests to send their “best bed pose” photos, which we found completely unsuitable while travelling with our daughter. The experience made us feel so uneasy that we ended up changing hotels in the middle of the night, which was stressful and upsetting for all of us. This hotel may suit adults looking for a quirky or erotic-themed experience, but we absolutely would not recommend it for families.

Fantastic hotel. Amazing decor, greatly designed rooms with good amenities. Comfy bed and chairs in the room and a fantastic rainfall shower. The staff are friendly and can make a great cocktail. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will be back again.
