Disappointing stay. Our room was clean and efficient, we had a king bed which we like, but was so small there was no place for two pieces of luggage. We asked if there was anything else we could switch to and reception told us all the rooms on our floor (I guess meaning price category) were the same size, so this is what we all get. We were with another traveler, a single person, so we went to see her room down the hall. It was noticeably larger than ours. She had two club chairs, we had one. She had 6’ more floor space between bed and wall. Her bathroom had bath sheet size towels. Ours had tiny towels that barely covered you up. Why would they assign the larger room to a single guest vs two guests? In the end we managed, but I am frustrated that they basically lied to us about the rooms all being the same size.

A satisfactory city center hotel. The rooms are well-equipped, the bedding is decent, and it's very quiet. The breakfast is quite good, if a bit basic. The staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. A good place to stay in Glasgow if you're attending a conference at the SEC.

Travel a lot with our dogs and this is probably the most dog welcoming hotel I have visited in UK. Dog beds, bowls, treats in room. Dogs allowed in lounge and restaurant areas which is rare but fantastic. Staff were super friendly and helpful too, special mention to Robert and Hal on reception for helping us with a very last minute stop over booking. Will definitely be back when visiting Glasgow. Oh and beds unreal comfy after a long day traveling!

Stayed here as part of a tour of 22 Americans. Staff, facilities, food, and rooms were all very good. In particular the renovated bathroom was outstanding and spacious. The only wrinkle was when one of the two small lifts malfunctioned as we were trying to check out after breakfast. All in all, excellent and highly recommended.
