My stay was good with a couple of minor issues - I'm not a fan of breakfast buffets (I'd rather pay more for fresh cooked) and there were no towel rails in the bathroom

Comfortable hotel, just a few minutes from the station. Unprepossessing from the outside, the hotel is well decorated inside. The rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned. The showers are good. There is a good bar and light meals at reception - and good service there too. Recommended.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms were very nice, clean, and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. The service was also good—staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, a major issue completely ruined the stay. There were a lot of rats and mice running around outside the hotel, which was honestly quite shocking and very off-putting. It made the whole environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe, and it’s not something I expected at all. The kitchen is located on the ground floor, and considering the situation outside, I would not feel comfortable eating at the hotel restaurant. Overall, while the rooms and service are good, the issue with rats and mice is serious and would stop me from staying here again.

Really like staying at this hotel, clean, welcoming and polite staff. A good choice for breakfast. It is a bit of a walk into the centre of Ipswich, but I don't mind, some people might find it to far.

Excellent stay, nice hotel, good location, friendly people, excellent breakfast. Pity about the pay parking but hey ho ,all hotels seem to do that nowadays.
