This historic and fun spot will not disappoint from Drag DJs playing Open Your Heart by Madonna to the second level look down - this place is perfect for Vodka Sodas with Line all night long! The bartenders are very funny and each night you feel included here! A Must stop for your day into night into late nights for sure!

First time in Compton's and thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly bar staff, reasonably priced drinks and a lovely atmosphere.

Seeing the place so bustling, surrounded by the constant flow of people, pedestrians, and vehicles that characterizes Old Compton Street, fills me with joy. It's a true picture-postcard scene that perfectly captures the vibrant essence and electric atmosphere that makes this neighborhood so special. The building's architecture is a beautifully preserved traditional British marvel. Its imposing exposed brick facade, combined with the majestic upper windows and classic white ornamentation, gives the entire block a unique and incredibly photogenic personality. Details like the antique lanterns at the entrance and the striking purple "FABULOUS" sign perfectly reflect the relaxed, joyful, and multicultural spirit that has always defined Soho's nightlife and social scene. The location of the establishment is simply unbeatable. Located on one of the most vibrant, commercial, and artistic streets in the historic center, it's the perfect meeting point for locals and tourists alike. It's ideal for a break during a day of sightseeing or for soaking up the urban atmosphere before or after visiting the area's famous theaters. Without a doubt, it's a must-visit and highly recommended spot for travelers who appreciate places with character, stops steeped in history, and the charm of classic London pubs at their finest. A must-see in the heart of the capital!

I’ve been a regular at this pub and generally enjoy the atmosphere, but the music volume -especially on DJ nights - is a serious concern. It’s not just loud, it reaches levels that feel unsafe and uncomfortable to be around for more than a short time. It's much louder than the levels you'd expect at a large nightclub, yet this is a small pub. It means I now avoid the place. Yesterday, it was impossible to hold a conversation even when speaking directly into someone’s ear, and my ears were ringing after leaving - we left to go to a different bar where levels were much safer. This goes beyond a lively atmosphere and becomes a serious well-being issue. Some people may roll their eyes at feedback like this, but if you are regularly exposed to that kind of level, your hearing will eventually become seriously damaged. Staff who work here should consider this and raise it if they are concerned about the impact on their own hearing. I’d really encourage management to review the sound levels, especially during DJ sets and consider keeping the volume at a safer, more balanced level so customers can enjoy the venue without risking their hearing.

Compton's is great. A good crowd mix. Young and old alike. The DJ music is perfect. A variety of EDM and House and Pop Hits. Excellent choice of drafts. A full bar. Bar service is always quick and easy. Paying by card is the best. You don't need cash. The interior is a traditional pub feel but very roomy. Comptons is always a must go for me when I'm in London.

I was met with rudeness and refused entry. On April 18th, around 9:30 pm, I stopped by with a friend. It looked like a fun place, so we decided to check it out. Despite not having a single drink that night, the security guard (a tall, large man) rudely asked if I had been drinking. I told him no, which was the truth. Without any explanation, he then told me to leave and cross the street. He didn't ask for ID or check my bag; he was just extremely rude. I felt cornered and speechless. I don't know why he acted that way, but if he thought I was lying, he is clearly not prepared to work at a tourist spot that welcomes people from all over the world, some of whom may struggle with English. I lost all interest in visiting and will never return. I was received rudely and blocked. I felt cornered and speechless; I didn't expect to be treated that way. I don't know why he acted like that, but if he thought I was lying, he's not prepared to handle a tourist area where people from all over the world come, sometimes with difficulty speaking English. I lost all desire to visit and will never return to the place.
