It’s a good hotel but not 5 stars and the Ham Yard by the same branch is far better

Great location, smartly fitted out, food good.

When we decided to book the SoHo Hotel for part of our honeymoon, we found it online and were just taking a shot based on a few filters we had put in (a gym, location...) and then took a shot. And whoa were we not disappointed. My wife and I have stayed at the full gamut of hotels from the Inn at Little Washington (with a 3-Michelin starred restaurant in-house and a price point one would expect to match) to random tiny hotels just to make do for one night. Our experience at SoHo Hotel was among our absolute best. Our room was clean and comfortable. The employees were beyond friendly and accommodating, and the kindness they showed us during our stay was unmatched by other hotels during our trip through Europe (despite some others having fancier names and costing more). We take a yearly trip to New York City each November and found out their small chain has a few locations there - so we're discussing deviating from our usual routine and staying at one of their sister hotels just to see if they live up to the same standards. We genuinely can’t recommend it enough.

The Soho Hotel always delivers on service, with friendly helpful staff, and comfort, with outstanding rooms and super bedding. The design is whimsical yet contemporary. Each room Is unique. The gym is well equipped. The bar and restaurant are also excellent. Our favorite hotel in London. Location is outstanding and accessible to public transportation.

A great spot to drop in for a cocktail. I am sure it's a great place to stay, with friendly staff but as a London local I like to start a night here for a superior expresso martini or sharp negroni. The bar is always great, both the nature of the staff and quality of the drinks.
