AVOID! Unpleasant experience from start to finish. Unsure how this place got such good reviews, I feel sorry for people who consider this bar a good time. Pretty much all my complaints align with the other low reviewed ones here. I believe all problems are downstream from the "management" here.

I am sorry but this place has changed so badly. Stuff are so rude to customers and fight you at the bar. This is not the place I used to call friendly, probably the name have to change or the whole stuff needs to get fired. Rude stuff, no thank you.

Bit of a tourist trap with staff that don't really know what they're doing. Cocktails aren't great either.

Absolutely appalling experience. We were sold 5 cocktails (£64.63) at 11:29pm with no warning whatsoever that the bar was closing one minute later. At 11:30pm on the dot, the music was turned off, the atmosphere completely killed, and staff immediately began shutting everything down. They literally pulled our table out from under us, forcing us out before we could even drink what we’d just paid for. When we asked for a refund, given we were given no opportunity to actually consume the drinks, the situation escalated badly. The staff were aggressive, confrontational, and outright hostile, repeatedly blaming us for what had happened instead of taking any responsibility. There was zero attempt to resolve the issue. Genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Avoid like the plague.

The vibe here is unmatched! Great drinks, great energy and fun / wild decor. A must when in Soho.

Do NOT visit the UNFRIENDLY SOCIETY. Walked up to the door with a doorman who quite frankly was in another dimension. Greeted him with a smile, "hows it going boss", normal friendly stuff. He then proceeds to just start talking in a foreign language and doesn't say anything else. Awkward silence later "this is a gay bar". Yeah, I'm well aware.. that's why my boyfriend & I are trying to enter. We share smiles, there was absolutely zero agro from either side I should add. But then he starts trying to manipulate a tip out of us bordering on demanding. I don't mind tipping doormen at all, but I always do this when leaving and after having a good experience, not a weird one. Anyway, he was obviously external agency bod so we went in and wrote it off as just an eccentric guy with a boring night ahead of him. Noticed a grim fish tank that was flooded with green/yellow murky water, could barely see the poor goldfish suffering inside the tank. This is not an environment for any animal, as you will find out. Don't try and use the bar like literally any other bar in the country. We had just made our way to the bar and started waiting our turn as happens literally anywhere else. The bar person watched us do this and we politely stood there for a good 5 minutes whilst they served up 3 drinks (to one group, it was slow) and instead of informing us that there was some kind of mythical queue system that wasn't signed anywhere, they left it to another patron who was off their face on more than just alcohol, to just scream at us and lightly physically assault me to indicate that there was some kind of system, but it wasn't obvious and certainly wasn't signed anywhere. Anyway, eventually the bar person decided to inform us that we needed to queue from "the back by the wall" but then left some sarky comment about the fact that "you know that, I know you know that" when I've never been there before, nor met the person before and the fact that queueing for bars is not the norm in 99% of places. 1/5, horrible atmosphere, weird vibes on the door, queer bar for straight middle aged people.

Fantastic find, really quirky place, cocktails are amazing!

You have to check this place out! Their name says it all. My partner and I have visited multiple times whenever we are in London. Maria and her staff make you feel right at home. The ambiance and vibe is something you need to see to experience. Kinda retro, kinda tiki, kinda secret underground club. It’s so unique and unlike any other place we’ve been before. The drink menu has many different options ranging from house cocktails to personal requests. It’s safe to say we will return the next time we are back in London.

Very kind and cool bar, Maria was incredible with us. The bar haves a great cocktail list :)
