🌿 OUT! Walking Social — Kensington Gardens Circular Walk

Fancy some fresh air, good company and the chance to meet new people?

Join us for our first OUT! Walking Social as we explore the beautiful Kensington Gardens, with coffee beforehand and pub drinks afterwards!

OUT! is all about casual walking and socialising — not hiking!

Walking is a brilliant natural icebreaker. No awkward introductions or organised activities — just fresh air, lovely scenery and conversations that happen naturally.

🌈 LGBTQ+ people and allies welcome! Whether you're coming alone, with friends or bringing your dog, everyone is welcome.

Don't fancy the walk? You're equally welcome to join us just for coffee or meet us at the pub afterwards!

☕ 12pm — Pre-Walk Coffee Social

📍 Italian Gardens Café

Kensington Gardens, London, W2 2SD

We'll meet from midday for an informal coffee social beside the beautiful Italian Gardens fountains.

Grab a coffee, tea or something to eat and get to know a few people before we set off.

Only joining the walk? Please meet us outside Italian Gardens Café by 12:50pm. Look out for your OUT! host.

🚶 1pm — Kensington Gardens Circular Walk

📏 Distance: Approximately 5 km / 3.1 miles (route subject to minor adjustments)

⏱️ Duration: Around 2 hours at a relaxed social pace

🐕 Dog-friendly: Well-behaved dogs welcome, with leads required in designated areas

Expect a leisurely pace with plenty of opportunities to chat, change walking partners and enjoy the surroundings.

We'll finish close to where we started, making travelling home straightforward.

You don't need to be an experienced walker, but you should be comfortable walking approximately 5 km.

🍻 Around 3pm — Optional Pub Social

📍 The Victoria

10A Strathearn Place, Paddington, W2 2NH

After the walk, we'll head to this cosy, traditional London pub for optional drinks and socialising.

Stay for a drink, grab something to eat or simply enjoy more conversation!

🐕 Dogs are welcome in the bar area.

Not joining the walk? You're very welcome to meet us directly at the pub from around 3pm.

Stay for as little or as long as you like!

🚆 Getting There & Home

🚇 Nearest station: Lancaster Gate (Central line)

Italian Gardens Café is a short walk from Lancaster Gate station.

Other nearby stations include:

Paddington: Tube, Elizabeth line and National Rail

Queensway: Central line

Bayswater: Circle and District lines

As this is a circular walk, we'll finish close to our original meeting area.

⚠️ Please check TfL or National Rail before travelling, as planned engineering works may affect some services on Sunday 22 November.

Coming alone? Absolutely fine! These socials are designed to help people meet new faces.

🚶 Relaxed pace: We walk together, with no rushing or competition.

🐕 Dogs welcome: Please keep them under control and on leads where required.

👟 What to wear: Comfortable walking shoes and suitable clothing for November weather. Paths may be wet or slippery.
