I came back here after 7 years to just say that out of all the times I stayed in London - Andaz is by all means the best hotel I stayed at. Something about this hotel that has left and everlasting memories… especially their exclusive air freshener.
Superb Hotel. The staff were amazing, especially Michael who welcomed us at check-in. The breakfast really is one of the best I have had in an Hotel. We will definitely go back.
We stayed at the Andaz for a week on a combined business and family trip. The building itself is stunning - beautifully designed with warm, colorful décor that makes a great first impression. The staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet at Eastway Brasserie was wonderful and truly the highlight of our stay. We really enjoyed the wide variety of offerings - from the hot dishes like spinach cream (which we wished was available daily), grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages, bacon, hash browns, and eggs, to the cold selections such as fresh fruits, specialty cheeses, smoked salmon, and a good assortment of pastries and artisan breads. The breakfast team was consistently friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the warm, gracious service from the lovely Indian lady (whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch), and Karim for his attentiveness, along with the rest of the staff. Their hospitality truly made our mornings more enjoyable. One minor downside was that Rake’s Café Bar was unable to accommodate us for dinner because we had a young child with us (as well as Lady Abercorn's). As a result, it didn’t feel like a very family‑friendly option. Eastway Brasserie was the only onsite restaurant that could host us for an evening meal, and while we appreciated that, it would have been nice to have more family‑friendly dining choices within the hotel. A standout feature was the complimentary in‑room minibar service. Having it restocked each day with fresh water, a light snack, and juice was a thoughtful convenience that really enhanced our stay. Additionally, the hotel was wonderfully accommodating in allowing us to check in early, which made such a positive difference after our journey and set a welcoming tone for the rest of our visit. There were, however, a few areas of the hotel experience that could be improved. In our family room (which consists of two rooms combined into one), the shower leaked under the door, and we received a stained towel as well as two stained toilet paper rolls when we requested more from a housekeeping staff member. We also discovered a piece of clothing left behind by a previous guest under the towel warmer rod which clearly indicates that the housekeeping inspection was insufficient and that certain areas were overlooked. Although we opted out of housekeeping during online check‑in, staff still knocked on our door twice a day. Additionally, the “family room” setup didn’t match what was described online, and despite notifying the hotel in advance about a special birthday, the request was overlooked until we followed up at the front desk. These issues suggest that communication and housekeeping consistency could use some attention. Aside from these points, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the overall experience of our first time at a 5‑star hotel. The property has many wonderful qualities, and we would still recommend this hotel.
I wish I could give this hotel 100 stars; We had such an amazing stay at Andaz London!! Truly I think this was my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. Very single staff member was exceptional. We traveled with our two young children (8 mo and almost 3 yo) and everyone was so kind and understanding. I want to specifically thank Karim for each morning at breakfast being so thoughtful and welcoming. Olga from management was also so amazing and made us feel right at home. I can't recommend this hotel enough. We can't wait to come back!
