Iconic Bar, on Richmond Street, is one of Manchester's mainstays for a gay night out. It draws a lively, high-energy crowd ready to dance.
During the week, things are a bit more chill. Mondays, for example, they do bingo and quiz nights. It's a good way to meet people if you're not into the full-on club scene, or just want a casual drink.
But come the weekend, the place fills up. The resident DJ plays everything from club anthems to whatever's big on the charts right now. Expect a packed dance floor and a proper party atmosphere. If you're looking for a quiet chat, maybe try a Monday; if you want to dance until late, weekends are when Iconic really delivers.

Great little bar. This is where I go if I’m on my own. Everyone’s friendly staff and customers alike. More of a pub vibe than the other bars which is much appreciated. Underrated little gem of the city centre.
Great bar, lovely staff and well priced drinks. Plumbing and worn out toilets in desperate need of refurb very smelly drains throughout on last few visits. Zero complaints otherwise!

Always live popping into Iconic Bar, Terry and the team are the most welcoming and friendly bunch in the village. If you're doing the gay pub crawl this just has to be on your list.
It's Saturday and there is no crowd at 7pm. I hoped for a better night. Drinks are fine not so expensive £4.40 budweiser.
