Dead atmosphere, always empty. That’s why they have the windows covered all the time, like some festering condemned hoarders flat would have the curtains shut 24/7. The toilets absolutely reek and the smell is pushed into the drinking area with every waft of the closing door. There’s always those little flies circling in the middle of the room and it looks and smells like they’re never, ever cleaned. Last time I went there it was a very quiet Thursday night. There was a group of four of us waiting to start work so we thought we’d nip in for a quick drink as it was the middle of winter. The barman refused to serve us because one of the group was wearing these casual grey joggers for work. In response, I decided that mistake would cost them hundreds of pounds by me never returning, pretty easy really. They expect you to come out dressed like a dogs dinner on a quiet Thursday night before work but they won’t run a damp cloth round the toilets. Why give your money to such a place?

I was out as designated driver. Came here with who I was with. Anyways, I asked for a coke. Guy didn't say how much it was. I tapped and drank the drink which want nice in all honesty! I check my bank app to find I've been charged £3.20 for what I believe to be syrup coke! 250ml! Thats daylight robbery on another level that!! Won't be buying that again!

There is no toilets for females with disabilities We went in a a small group two people with disability (unable to use stairs) We asked for a toilet for ladies and was told they are upstairs They could clearly see two member of our group was physically unable to use the stairs So asked to use the men’s which are downstairs with no steps/stairs The men’s toilets were empty the bouncers we were happy to let them use the toilet Next one member went into the men’s toilets and the manager who was extremely rude came running over and told not use the men’s and to go upstairs and use the ladies We replied we have two members of our group unable to use the stairs and they have no disabled access toilets On which his reply “not my problem you are not using the men’s toilets use the stairs or don’t use the toilet” Then decided very quickly after we had mention there is no disabled faculties and some people are physically unable to climb stairs there should be a option to use another toilet We was then told If we didn't leave we would be reported to the police At this point we all got up and left Never again will we go into that place Very rude and unprofessional

If I were to provide a rating, it would be a 0. I experienced very poor service. It seemed to be the owner who approached me and insisted that I buy a drink in order to use the slot machine. 🤣 He mentioned that this is standard practice in any bar, but his approach was quite impolite. Consequently, I decided to take my business elsewhere and enjoyed a few drinks without being hassled to make a purchase before playing on the slot machine. The gentleman's demeanor was abrupt and discourteous. Moreover, the prices were exorbitant - I paid £3.50 for a small glass of orange juice that was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend visiting this place as it is a complete waste of both your money and time. The overall atmosphere was also very disappointing.

Been coming to Manchester for years, I've never been here walked passed thought I would give it a go quiet Friday afternoon, the fella behide the bar was friendly, very clean and welcoming and fantastic drinks promotions 100% recommend, I will back this evening 10/10

I was in this pub for the first time during the leather weekend in Manchester. They hosted the cigar social there. When I read the reviews before coming I was expecting the worst. But I'm glad it turned out to be the opposite. It's located in the heart of the gay village and has a nice outdoor seating for smoking. I had a great time there with my leather friends. The staff were nice and friendly and the prices were good for the drinks.. hopefully I'll be there again on my next visit to Manchester

Quiet Little Bar To Start Of The Night.

Where do I start? I attended the venue on Friday the 23rd of August with my friend only to be told by the manager Phil (the big guy who looks like Gru from Minions) that he has a "lifetime ban" and if we didn't leave he would contact security and have my friend removed from the event as a whole. What's the point in advocating for the rights of homosexuals only to mistreat some? Make it make sense. I've been attending this bar for several years on and off and I've stood and watched as this extremely bitter and power hungry individual has slowly driven it into the depths of no return. The people I speak to refuse point blank to go here anymore because of this particular person. He even let a bouncer go because he liked me >.< like, how pathetic. Manchester City Council need to oust him so the place can be revitalised. My advice would be to completely avoid the place all together.

If I could rate lower I would. As a female I have never felt so discriminated in my life. Whilst I was taking photos with my friend he rudely and aggressively approached myself and my friends and said “you’re not at home now love get off that sofa posing like you’re something”. Another a manager who had previously served us was very friendly and humble who seemed quite unsettled by his poor behaviour. Witnesses were present to this incident. We have proceeded to visit another bar and enjoy the night as it is my friends birthday where we will most certainly receive better treatment. Very poor management and interpersonal skills. I will not be returning to this bar. Avoid at all costs!!!

What a great night out! The music (DJ) was on point, busy with friendly customers and the bar staff had a joke with us too! We even had a "Goodnight, thanks for popping by" from the nice door staff. This is now one of my top 4 venues when visiting the gay-village. If you have been before, it's worth a visit.
