Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly

Very conveniently located. Great breakfast. Clean rooms and super neat bathrooms. I found rhe bed too soft but that's personal preference. Also luggage hold while I was at work on final day. Super nice front desk staff as well.

We had a great stay at Motel 1 – the staff were extremely friendly, our room was very clean and surprisingly big. Considering its proximity to Manchester Picadilly train station, our stay was exceptional value for money. I highly recommend a stay at Motel 1.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean, fresh, and incredibly comfortable after a day of discovering Manchester. The facilities were excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to help whenever needed. The breakfast was also delicious, and one of the highlights was seeing the kitchen team draw smiley faces on the boiled eggs. Such a small but thoughtful touch that instantly brightened the morning. After all, what better way to start the day than with a smile? 😊 Highly recommended for anyone visiting Manchester!

I was disappointed with my stay here (room 536). I have stayed at many Motel One properties across UK and have generally had very positive experiences, but unfortunately this was the most disappointing one so far. While the room was clean and well maintained, the lack of basic amenities was frustrating. There was no bedside table, making it difficult to keep personal belongings nearby or conveniently charge a phone overnight. There was also no proper wardrobe or closet, only a small open hanging area with a few hangers near the entrance and side of the room. There was no Safe to store passports and valuables. Another basic inconvenience was the lack of a waste bin in the room. We had to collect our rubbish in a bag and leave it on the floor. The bathroom also had an issue with the toilet flush. After flushing, the water would continue to run and would only stop after flushing a second time. Housekeeping was also below expectations. On the last day of our stay, the rubbish was not removed, cleaning cloths were left behind in the room, and the toilet paper was not replenished. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is very convenient, being close to Piccadilly Station. The staff were also kind enough to allow us to check in earlier, which was appreciated.

My choice was the best in terms of location and price. It's close to the train station (easy access to the airport), close to a beautiful lake, and the town center has plenty of shops and restaurants. And within walking distance is a bus stop, which took me daily to various locations throughout the lake district. The owner of this hotel was very hospitable and thoughtful. I was well prepared and had lots of places to go on the map. But Garrett gave me many important and helpful tips and advice. Thank you!!!

,We had a really satisfying stay, not only the location is excellent (a minute from the train station) but, the service and general quality of everything is great too. Convenient room with great view, good breakfast, nice lobby to relax late in the evening with drinks.

Central Manchester (Piccadilly) hotel. Great location for access to train station, the centre of town, gay village and northern quarter. Hotel is spotless and very clean. Our room (505) was small with little space for our cases or our clothes as we were staying for four nights. Bed was very comfortable. Shower room recently redecorated to a high standard. Ground floor was 24hr reception. Bar had extended opening hours. Breakfast service in the morning. Breakfast was continental and an excellent range of food ( cereals; bread; eggs; cheese; ham; yogurt; and loads of different teas and coffees. (Top tip: there are two food counters. Check the counter by the bar area . It has a further selection of food and milk for the tea!) Reception staff were efficient. Table Cleaning staff friendly.
