Jood Restaurant

I could talk from today until tomorrow and still not finish because the food is so delicious and worth coming back again and again. We ordered almost everything on the menu, from burgers to grilled meats and fries, and every dish was more delicious than the last. And the best part is that it's halal! Honestly, this is my top restaurant! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

They didn't have anything that we ordered from their menu, time was around 7pm. Bad experience.

Great food first time visiting got an excellent recommendation from the chef tried multiple dishes from the starters to the mains and price and portions were brilliant. Definitely recommend Jood

Fair enough

Nestled between many restaurants is lil old Jood. Dishes taken from around the world and brought to our doorstep in Manchester. I ordered the Korean chicken wings and jood signature combo. The wings were good, served piping hot. The glaze was a little more salty than I'd want them. The chicken and kofta on the signature were good. However, the rice was cold and the coleslaw wasn't to my taste. I would go again and try some of their other dishes!

The best food in Manchester!

I experienced repeated cigarette smoking immediately outside the restaurant, which frequently affected residents living above the premises. Despite concerns being raised, the situation did not improve. Only after the letting agency interfered and warned repeatedly for 3 times (even after the ban of smoking in the premises) things were getting better. Police and council had been contacted for multiple times for community harassment. It took about 3months until the situation finally got better! More seriously, during one incident I was yelled at “Go Back to China” by the chef of this restaurant and was threatened by a group of the staff from the restaurant, by physically threatening at surrounding. At my own place. I found this deeply upsetting, frustrating, terrifying, straight up racial attack and reported the matter to Greater Manchester Police. The police informed me that it’s hard to pursue further investigation. However the police is fully aware of what happened. That decision does not change what I experienced. I also raised my concerns through the appropriate channels. The restaurant later stated that it had “investigated” the matter. However, based on my own experience, I did NOT see any meaningful attempt to contact me, establish the facts with me, or address the issues I had reported. I heard nothing from them. As a result, I do NOT have confidence that my concerns were properly considered. This review reflects my personal experience and explains why I would absolutely NOT recommend this establishment.

We had a gorgeous evening on Saturday at Jood. The food was so lovely , fresh and amazingly priced. The server Rashi was very accommodating and kind. I’m told the chef was Telha Damian. Amazing experience !

I am now scared of the On Fire restaurant in Dhaka because it is unhygienic!!! However, this restaurant seems nice and clean, and the food here is delicious! But On Fire restaurant sucks!

Found this place while looking for somewhere nearby that was halal, relaxed, a bit different, and served food with a bit of a kick and it definitely lived up to expectations. There was plenty of space on a Saturday night, with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Families, couples, and groups all seemed to be enjoying themselves. The interior is stylish and welcoming. The waitress was excellent, offering us a choice of tables and taking our order promptly. Our food arrived in around 15 minutes, freshly cooked and beautifully presented. The food was outstanding 😍 packed with flavour, healthy, generous in portion size, and really satisfying. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to coming back. The restaurant was clean throughout, prices were reasonable, and while parking in the area is a little limited, it was well worth the visit. Highly recommended if you’re after great halal food in a relaxed setting.

Had the best food here!! The Caesar salad was so good and the prawns were some of the best I’ve ever had. It was really nice inside and our waitress was lovely. Would definitely go back the next time I’m in Manchester💯💯

The food was absolutely amazing! The Caesar salad is hands down the best I’ve had in the UK. What an excellent Chef! A big thank you to Rashi for the outstanding service friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
