We stayed for the first time this weekend and I honestly couldn’t really fault it, my only tiny fault would be the tv at the end of the bed in pod David doesn’t actually work but the staff were great and offered us to stay in the house but we kindly declined and stayed in our pod we enjoyed it and loved all the quirky decor in the bar/restraunt! we’ve decided we’re coming back next month ☺️happily recommend and the prices are great! see you soon guys, Sasha and chris
I would have given it more than 5 stars, I absolutely loved my stay, I was going to a conference at the NEC and booked to stay at this amazing place, I stayed in the old house and met Gertie in the wardrobe 😂 I’m coming back for a weekend I loved it that much and the staff are fantastic, I got a chance to sit and have a chat with them , it’s amazing, see you all soon Caroline & Wally xx
For £90 the room was a generous size and clean. Although only mid-September the heating was already on so it was comfortable.
Been here a few years ago, shooting and off road go karting. The owner is mad but in a good way 😉👍🏻
Tried a glamping pod instead of a typical room for a change. Wasn't disappointed at all.
Booked through a third party and had been upgraded for free from Pod 1 (automatically assigned via third party) to Pod 2 as I had emailed to ask what this would cost, which was great. This hadn't been noted on arrival as we were noted as Pod 1 but was upgraded again anyway to Ethel (Shepherds Hut). We really appreciated this and the staff were lovely. However, the hut was dirty (dirty towel, uncleaned shower with half used shampoo on the floor), sticky floor, stain on pillow and duvet. Mattress was hard and lumpy - worst night's sleep we ever had, woke up really aching. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1 and booked a travelodge. Do not recommend staying here unfortunately. Food on site was average but overpriced.
