The Strawberry Bank Hotel, Restaurant , Pub & Function Suite

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect as only 10 minutes drive to NEC. We booked the suite, which was a lovely room overlooking the garden and field (lovely views of sheep). Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very busy in the restaurant but still gave great service and were very attentive. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Will definitely book again when in the area.

I have stayed at the Strawberry Bank Hotel for 5 nights, and despite the sun being a deadly laser this weekend they were extremely comfortable and one of the most wonderful places I have stayed in awhile. The staff are extremely friendly. Because I was going to an event which had me wearing a lot of costumes, the cleaner saw this and got chatting to me about them. I’m two occasions the stuff bent over backwards to make sure that I got breakfast despite me getting to the restaurant late. I wish I’d got everybody’s names that I’ve spoken to so that I could personally shout out each and every one of them, the only bane I caught was Megan who helped me get something to eat on my first morning at breakfast. There hasn’t been a single frown in this hotel and that makes a hell of a difference. My room was comfortable. It’s a very short and easy drive from the NEC if you’re there for an event or something. Does tea and coffee which is replenished daily in the rooms, a TV, and excellent showering facilities which I’m sure you’ll agree makes a stay 10 times better. The room was clean daily as well, although you can request for it not be if that is your preference with a simple hanger on the door. Check-in was easy and I’m just about to check out. The Surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. My room looked out onto some fields where there was some sheep which was quite a comforting noise, no traffic. No distractions. All that left to say is if you are considering staying here, I fully recommend it. Welcoming staff, good food, homely atmosphere what you want.?

It was very hot outside under the roof and glass windows. Service and food were ok.

Went for food, the waiter was quite dopey, the wings were overcooked, the hummus was very salty and I paid £17.50 for a main that was mediocre at best, my girlfriends tasted like it’d been microwaved which is a massive shame. Despite this, the location is lovely, would be a great place to do and drink outdoors in the summer and the manager who asked for our feedback was very receptive and apologetic, she clearly takes her role seriously.

Very handy for several golf courses and very reasonably priced. The staff were all friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. It only lost a star as without Aircon I would've liked to have my window open but my room overlooked the garden and there was a wedding on. With hindsight I'm sure I could've asked for a room on the opposite side when booking. Breakfast was good value for money. Would happily stay again.

Well, four of us paid a visit today, had a lovely afternoon meal, starters and coffee. The food and service was excellent 👍 We will be going again 👏

Had our wedding party on Saturday, everything ran amazingly. Staff were great, food (hot & cold buffet) was incredible had so many compliments. Thank you all x
