This is a budget hotel with no frills. The rooms are very clean and the staff could not be more helpful. Food is limited, but if you are after a simple stay, it works. Can be some road noise or bar noise depending on the room. I stayed for 1 night and ended up going back for additional trips as they made me feel like a 'local', offered secure parking (at a small cost), and super helpful.

Fantastic stay. I was here for one night then the Ibis close by for two; I’d choose this everytime from now on. Rooms are cheap and value for money is great. The bathrooms are new and upto date. Although the tv placement wasn’t great in my room (15) - I paid 29 quid for a double and a single bed … and spent about half an hour watching tv anyways … so it really didn’t matter because in terms of value for money I don’t think I’ve ever had a stay this good. There are a variety of nice food locations close by, Nandos, Wagawama, McDonald’s etc a 15 minute walk or a short car drive away, take aways outside less than two minutes walk and pub grub down stairs. It was noisy until early hours due to the pub downstairs, but please be aware I stayed on Easter weekend and on a Sunday with lots of drinkers having an extra eve to enjoy, I’m sure on a standard week night it would have been much quieter. The noise wasn’t enough for me to be upset, it was noticeable but not a hinderance. I’ve tried to give as honest as a review as possible, both pros and cons. Plz be assured when I’m working in Sheffield this will be my location from now on. It’s an honest and humble stay, but that’s all I ask for when working away. Thanks to the owners for making it worthwhile.

Avoid this place. I arrived today with my children after booking through Booking.com. When we arrived, there was no parking at all and the place looked more like a pub than a hotel. The owner asked for my passport even though my details were already provided through Booking.com. When I showed a photo of it, he quickly took a picture of it with his phone. I am not comfortable with my personal data being collected this way. He also refused to show the room and asked me to pay £84 first, writing the amount on a piece of paper. Because I was alone with my children and the situation did not feel right, we decided to leave. I have reported this situation to Booking.com. Please be careful when booking.!
